At our centers, we are dedicated to offering comprehensive care for individuals with various developmental disabilities. Our mission is to build an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive, no matter their unique challenges. In this blog post, we will explore some of the developmental disabilities we care for, the approaches we take, and the importance of personalized support.

Each condition has its own set of challenges and needs tailored care approaches. Luckily, we have the expertise to do just that. We understand your loved one may come here for a variety of reasons. May it be to socialize, get out into the community, learn job-ready skills (Vocational Habilitation) etc. We're here to deliver what is needed so that all our participants can Grow, Develop, and Explore.

• Wheelchair usage

• Cain/Walker usage

• ADHD

• Anxiety

• OCD

• Food intolerances

• Etc.

Support we provide at our Day Centers:

We are currently able to offer an array of services to our participants, based off the needs and desires of them, their caregivers, and doctors.

Medication: We have staff on hand daily that are certified in administering medication (In a private, comfortable, and designated med room).

G-Tube & Dietary restrictions: We are able to administer G-tube feeding as well as accommodate dietary restrictions.

Changes/Toileting: We have private changing rooms and aid in toileting for those in need of assistance.

Visual attention: We strictly ensure our participants are within view at all times to ensure their own as well as others safety.

Insulin: We are certified to administer Insulin.

What do we not accommodate?

An inclusive environment is essential for individuals with developmental disabilities. At our center, we work hard to create a warm atmosphere that promotes acceptance and understanding. We believe everyone deserves the chance to participate fully in their communities. That is why we do not discourage anyone from coming to our facility. As long as we are able to meet your needs, we are more than happy to bring you into the Medicore family!
